Accessibility Statement

The Rural Works Department is committed to making the CMCSRRDP portal accessible to as many users as possible, in line with the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and WCAG principles.

Accessibility Features

• Full keyboard navigation with an always-visible focus indicator.
• A "Skip to main content" link on each page.
• Support for the operating-system "reduce motion" preference, which minimizes animation.
• Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
• Semantic page structure with proper headings and landmarks, and colour choices chosen for readable contrast.

Known Limitations

Some interactive map and data-visualization elements may have limited screen-reader support. We are working to improve these. If you cannot access any information, we will provide it through an alternative means on request.

Standards

This portal aims to conform to GIGW and to WCAG 2.1 Level AA where practicable. Conformance is reviewed periodically as the portal evolves.
